To continue meeting the growing demand for its fabrics, and to deliver on the company’s multi-brand e-commerce and brand strategy, Vlisco Group asked Valtech to help it build a new e-commerce platform for both B2C and B2B customers. While the new platform focuses on consumers, it also includes tools to serve business buyers.

Online shoppers have higher and higher expectations. They expect a real product experience from a web shop. eFocus therefore developed a responsive e-commerce platform based on EPiServer Commerce. This multichannel platform offers a wide range of possibilities to personalise both content and product offering. For example, you can create promotions that reflect a customer’s previous purchases, their age and other information.

The result is a state of the art responsive e-commerce solution that enables Vlisco Group to tell its exceptional brand story. The people behind the fabrics, the ‘look book’ of inspiring examples and the close-up photos of the brand’s exclusive, fashionable fabrics, ensure a strong, optimised product experience. The connection to various backend systems such as a data warehouse and Adyen make processing web shop orders highly efficient. In total, Valtech was responsible for the strategy, design, online marketing and IT aspects of the project.
